OPTIONED - means somebody is interested in my good looks and purrrrrsonality but a deposit on me has not been made.

 

AVAILABLE - means no deposit yet taken and I am looking for my new loving furrrever home to live in.  C'mon c'mon I'm the good looking one.

  

UNDER ASSESSMENT - means mum and dad love me  or somebody  has expressed an interest in showing or breeding me.  Yippee

 

SOLD - means payment in full has taken place and all my bags and teddy are packed and I'm ready to go.  Weeeeeeeeee....

 WARNING !!!

 

 

Please be aware that there are 'SO CALLED BREEDERS' out there offering for sale 'PEDIGREE' kittens which have no registration papers at all.  Either one or both of the parents MAY be registered but the kittens are not and will usually not be vaccinated and the kittens will also be sold underage (7/8 weeks, the GCCF recommend 13/14 weeks).  Most vets insist on kittens being 9/10 weeks old before their 1st vaccination and 12/13 weeks old for their 2nd.  The kittens are quite often Heinz 57's (longhaired crosses) and the owner is after making a quick 'pound or 2',.  The price for an unregistered kitten may be appealing as it is usually lower than a purebreed, but do you actually KNOW what you are buying?  They are not vet checked or DNA Tested and are usually the offspring of pets which are then used to try and make money at the expense of an unsuspecting buyer.  

PLEASE check to see if the owners are registered breeders with the GCCF, TICA. CFA or FiFE in the UK, if not then for your own sake don't buy the kitten.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When you first enquire about a kitten and a sale has been agreed, please be aware that we will ask you numerous questions about the safety and environment of the potential home that our bundles of fluff will be going to, things like do they have unrestricted access to washers, dryers, dishwashers, outdoors and then more serious questions regarding their care.  This is for both our and their peace of mind so please do not be offended by any of our/their questions as it is vitally important that their new home will be kitten safe and friendly.  We fully expect to answer all your questions so please do not be offended and be prepared to answer all of ours, moreso if one of our kittens is emigrating abroad,  Thankyou.

 

 PET KITTENS

 

All of our kittens are born in our bedroom and are then moved into the kitten room where they stay for the next few weeks in peace and quiet with mum.  When they are weaned they then start to have the run of the house where they can exercise on the numerous cat play stations dotted about and can socialise with ourselves, as well as getting used to all the household sounds and smells.

 

All of our kittens are raised on a Royal Canin diet of Babycat and then moved onto Maine Coon Kitten 36. They are wormed approximately every 2 weeks with Panacur until leaving for their new homes at 13/14 weeks.  They are also flea/tick treated with Frontline before leaving.

 

All our kittens will leave our home fully vaccinated and vet checked twice.  They are registered with the GCCF and also come with 4 weeks free insurance through Petplan.  They are micro-chipped and registered with Petlog, they are now triple vaccinated including FeLV, Enteritis and Calici, they come with a 5 generation pedigree certificate, care/diet sheet and Royal Canin Kitten starter pack including 2kg of food as well a contract of sale. 

 

 BREEDING KITTENS

 

We do sell kittens for breeding, but only to Prefix Registered Breeders with the GCCF, FiFe or TICA.  Contract obligations would apply.  However we do not place excessive conditions in our contracts as the welfare and development of the breed comes first.   Please be aware that Breeding Kittens are more expensive than pet quality kittens and may not appear in every litter we have so please be patient if requiring a breeding quality kitten.  We breed two lines of 'Coonies', Old Lines and Show Lines are available.  We are also willing to help 'Newby's' start with breeding, but ONLY if it is for the right reasons, if it is for money, then don't call us as we love our cats and so should you.  We will only sell a stud that is confirmed N/N for (MYBPC3 Gene) and we will provide evidence. 

  

SHOW KITTENS

 

Occasionally we do have kittens that are suitable quality for showing.  However we CANNOT guarantee any wins at any shows as that is down to the judges discretion.  We can only sell a kitten that is upto the required breed standard as set out by the GCCF.  Again please be aware that these kittens are slightly more expensive than pet kittens and do not appear in every litter.
